CARROLL EDWARD'S HOSTS VARIETY CONCERTS in HALL'S HARBOUR: here are the dates!!!

Last summer saw a very successful series of Variety Concerts held at the hall, and we're pleased to announce that Carroll Edwards will be bringing all his musical friends back again this summer!

Just to remind you: the line up of groups rotates so that there's something new each time and you get to hear a variety of styles. The canteen is well prepared, with hotdogs and all the trimmings and chips, pop and coffee as well as bottled water.

There is a 50/50 draw at each concert - and last draw saw the winner walking off with over $50 in his pocket! As well, door prizes of a pair of free tickets to the next show are drawn for during the show.

The hall is easily located - view the map on the sidebar of this website - there is ample, directed parking, the acoustics are good, the chairs are comfortable and the venue is small and intimate. Plan to attend all the concerts!!

The last one was a "sold out" success and this one promises to be even better.

As always, there will be canteen service and in addition to the usual treats, we'll be offering yummy apple crisp

Hall's Harbour Fundyview Community Hall: A new season

The Hall's Harbour Fundyview Community Hall opened for the 2010 season with a Lasagna Supper on Saturday April 17. The opportunity to see friends and neighbours after a long winter was irresistable and the supper was a great success. Lots of old friends, and new faces too. In keeping with the policy of setting costs for participants as low as possible, admission was by freewill offering.

A couple of pictures  above show servers ready to plate the first dinners , and then an overview of guests starting to gather around the serving table.

Plans are currently being made to do some interior touch up painting and some minor repair of weathering on the siding and fascia boards, and the Board of Directors is currently prioritizing and costing needed updates to maintain and improve the hall.
The hall is available for bookings for weddings, family gatherings, reunions, parties, and educational and recreational purposes.
